The church recognizes that parents are the first and best teachers of faith for their children. Our program offers support and structure to the formation that is happening at home. We strive to integrate the meaning and message of the Word of God, the development of a community of faith, the celebration of Liturgy and worship, and to promote a life of service and discipleship.
The Faith Formation program offers weekly sessions for Kindergarten through Grade 6, Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 11:00 am Mass, and Sacramental preparation.
New images were just added from the Spring Alleluia Mass and October's Junior Youth Night. If you have photos from Faith Formation Events, that you would like to share, please email them to Christine Goss.
Congratulations to Liam Gorman for writing the winning essay on St. Kateri Tekakwitha. Liam shared his essay with our parish community during the Children's Mass on Sunday, October 18th - where his sister, Maeve, dressed the part of St. Kateri. Liam's prize was seats for himself, his sister and his dad, Steve on the bus trip to Auriesville this past Sunday for the Canonization Celebration. Great job, Liam!
