Pictures from the 2017 Morning of Service are posted on the
Parish Photos page!

To serve Christ and the community with mercy, compassion, and humility.

For the past 2 years, almost 400 parishioners of all ages and skills provided over 800 hours of service for the community. We served as Christ’s hands and feet making comfort blankets, welcome bags, cards for veterans, pencil pouches and Thanksgiving decorations. We cooked meals, visited patients, cleaned, sorted and organized inventory, washed windows, painted, raked and did odd jobs.

Participants indicated they were happy to serve with their fellow parishioners, to make deeper connections to the community, to show our children compassion firsthand, and to demonstrate how to put the needs of others before their own. You can see all of this in action by viewing photos from the 2017 Morning of Service HERE.

Response to sign ups has been amazing!  But there are still several projects available to choose from.  You can volutneer as an individual, a couple, a family or a group.

Some info about the day:  The event runs from about 8am - 1:30pm.  We will assemble in the church to check-in and have a brief prayer service.  After the prayer service, volunteers depart to their respective projects.  Everyone is invited back to the Parish Hall for a light lunch, fellowship and reflection.

A complete list of all of the projects scheduled for the the 2018 Morning of Service are listed in the table below.

There is a project for everyone - all ages, all abilities!  If physically able we urge you to select an off-site project, so that we can be visible in our community as the hands and feet of Jesus.  We encourage you to take a few minutes to look over all the projects.
