Faith Formation Grades K - 6, Rainbow and Children's Liturgy of the Word

The church recognizes that parents are the first and best teachers of faith for their children.  Our program offers support and structure to the formation that is happening at home.  We strive to integrate the meaning and message of the Word of God, the development of a community of faith, the celebration of Liturgy and worship, and to promote a life of service and discipleship.

Meet the
Faith Formation Staff

Mrs. Madeline Fretto
Pastoral Associate

Mrs. Michele DeLorenzo
Faith Formation Assistant

Pray with us!  8pm each evening during Lent!

Although our Faith Formation family cannot gather in person during this Holy season of Lent, we can still be united in spirit and prayer.  Our Lenten project is to pray together each night as one body of our church.

All of the children in our program have been given Prayer Hands to color.  In the center of the hands the children will write who or what they want to pray for every night.  Our prayer is said each night at 8 pm beginning on February 17 and continuing until April 3.  We will begin with the Sign of the Cross, pray the attached Prayer, add any personal prayer we would like, and conclude with the Sign of the Cross.

The Sullivan Family has shared their evening prayer with us.  We hope that your family grew closer in faith through this Lenten season.

The Shoemaker family was the first to share the video of their nightly prayer with us.  Feel free to email the video of your children saying their prayers to Mrs. Fretto and we will share them here.

The Faith Formation Program offers many opportunities for children and their families to fully engage in the Life of our Parish.  One way is through scheduling Masses throughout the year where the children have an opportunity to be the greeters, ushers, gift bearers and more.  We hope that you are able to join us for these special liturgies throughout the year!
