Ordained: October 3, 1992

Deacon Mike first became a member of the Church of Immaculate Conception in 1974, and began his ordained ministry in 1992. As a deacon, he is responsible for both liturgical and service ministries. He is often seen preaching the gospel at Sunday liturgy, and he also celebrates baptisms and marriages. Deacon Mike's service to our parish includes: Amazing God program, REC (Residents Encounter Christ - prison ministry), funeral and wake services, commital (burial) services, hospital visits and is responsible for Adult Faith Formation and Catechesis. He has also been an instructor for the Formation for Ministry Program. Deacon Mike loves working with people, and says, "There is nothing that I do in my ministry that I don't love." He lives with his wife Peggy, and has three sons and four grandchildren. You might also see him behind his guitar (a favorite pastime) at our parish picnics.
