Glenville Council #10013

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic Organization with over 1.8 million members and growing. It is a fraternal order dedicated to the ideals of Columbianism: 

Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. We serve our fellow Knights, their families, our Parish, the Catholic Church and our communities.

Council meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm in the Library of the Parish Center.

Ladies Auxiliary

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 10013 was formed in September 2012 and now has over 26 members. We are a sisterly group of women of the church whose goal is support the Knights in their efforts. Silver Rose Prayer Service held at our Parish on Wednesday, December 16, 2020

On June 9, 2019, the Knights held their annual picnic on our Parish Grounds. In addition to fellowship among the Knights, Ladies Auxiliary and their families, the Clarence "Fritz" Newmann Tuition Assistance Award was presented to Drew Wemple.

December 19, 2018 - Knights coordinate annual Christmas Caroling at Glendale Nursing Home and are joined by members of the Ladies Auxiliary and others from our Church.

Who are the

Knights of Columbus?

In 1882 an assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Connecticut and some of his parishioners joined together to form the Knights of Columbus to provide financial aid to members and their families who are sick, disabled or needed help. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable and religious works.

The history of the Knights shows how the foresight of Father Michael J. McGivney, whose cause for sainthood is being investigated by the Vatican, brought about what has become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society.
