The ordinary ministers of the Eucharist are the bishop, priests and deacons, who administer Holy Communion to the congregation during the celebration of Mass.

Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist (EMEs) are commissioned annually to help with the distribution of the Body and Precious Blood to those attending Mass.

Those interested should be confirmed and possess a reverence for the Eucharist. Men, women and teens are welcome.

EMEs are scheduled quarterly and volunteers have the ability to select their Mass preference, to block off dates that they are not available and if scheduled to request a substitute if necessary. You can serve as frequently as you would like. EMEs are asked to arrive a little early for Mass to help set up and to stay a little after Mass to help clean up.
